College Admission Resources for High School Juniors

Online College Admission Resources for Rising Seniors Junior year is coming to a close, and for most rising seniors the weight of preparing to apply for college can be pretty heavy. At, we aim to make the college admissions process as easy as possible for both students and their families. For those of you who may be struggling to even figure out where to start, here are some helpful resources for high school juniors going into senior year! First, find out if you’re on the right track! Download the junior and senior checklists to get a better idea of what you’ve completed and what you need to get done between now and application time! While Google is a good place to start when researching schools for your college list, College Navigator has all kinds of information on enrollment and cost, among many other things, all in one place that’s easy to, you guessed it, navigate! Think you’ll need to apply for financial aid? Do your homework on the FAFSA. Stay on top of the latest college admissions news with New York Time’s The Choice blog and Huffington Post College. At this point you should have already taken your standardized tests. If not, visit the ACT and SAT websites to register for testing this summer or in the fall. If you have already taken the ACT or SAT and your scores aren’t the greatest, consider tutoring and taking the test again. There are also many colleges and universities that are now test-optional, so if you think your test scores my hinder your application, consider some of these schools on the Fair Test site when building your balanced college list.
